How do I know if the Serpentine belt needs changing?
Squealing or chirping sounds coming from engine bay is the biggest giveaway. Other symptoms can include heavier steering or your car battery suddenly draining or stalled engine. Serpent belt might also throw codes and make the check engine light appear.
How often should I service serpent and timing belt or chains?
Belt and chains are ware items and do need replacing. How often depends on driving conditions and/or your automakers recommendation. Not to worry, our certified technicians will inform you during inspection or service if it needs replacing.
